Pyritic nodule prep

So, after a few weeks of looking at my finds in my workshop but with no real time to do any prep work I have finally given in to the two pyritic nodules that have been staring at me, pleading for some love. I had time for a quick rough sanding session to gauge the quality of the pyrite. First impressions are good, with some hours thrown into these they should look pretty spectacular.

It is worth mentioning that I do not recommend attempting to grind/polish pyrite. It gives off a very fine, noxious powder that is highly flammable, explosive in fact. I have made a purpose made prep box with industrial extraction into a canister kept outside in case the worse happens!
