Winter 15/16
Over the last few months we have been on several fossil hunts, from deep in the Fens to the North Yorkshire coastline we have been busy !
In the next few weeks, we hope to showcase some of our new fossils up on this section. Due to the nature of the work involved in preparing them it will be a little while before they are ready to go!
This nodule has just been cracked open to expose a beautiful Ammonite, as you can see there is still quite a bit of work to do before it’s finished. It’s going to be a beautiful specimen though!!
Pliosaur tooth
We recently found this Pliosaur tooth, it’s in fabulous condition with little preparation required!

This is our first full reptile tooth, it was found in the Oxford clay. To say we are chuffed would be an understatement!!
